Staff
Knowledgeable and committed staff:
- CSCM centres value staff, professional development and research based contemporary practice;
- the rights of the child are upheld in daily practice, routines, experiences and events;
- current research and theory informs the early childhood curriculum;
- staff are encouraged to work towards increasing their knowledge and skill through further education;
- staff reflect on, evaluate and assess the appropriateness of the curriculum and daily practice ensuring true inclusion, authentic and meaningful experiences and worthwhile outcomes for each child;
- staff, children and families engage in conversations about children and their progress throughout the year; and
- staff and families learn from each other and respect the importance of their roles in children's learning and development.
